Job Requirements

Qualification : B Com or any other financial qualification relevant to Accounting Job Responsibilities - Accounting and Financials  Prepare, provide and interpret financial information including MIS, Trial Balance, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.  Compare with budget and prepare variance reports for relevant stakeholders.  Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions to generate error-free accounting reports.  Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.  Monitor and ensure internal controls and report issues for timely resolution.  Develop and document accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.  Reconcile bank account, cash book, Ledgers account, sub-ledger Vs Ledger along with all Control accounts.  Allocate and reconcile import suppliers with the help of Credit clerk.  Help the auditors during internal or external audit & Prepare the budget.  Accounts payables and verification. Supervise work of creditor clerk and reconcile differences if any on supplier, service provider invoices & statement. VAT controls and management  Understand the different VAT control requirements involved in import, domestic trading and exports and set up effective control / compliance process and procedures.  Audit documentation regularly to ensure compliance. Assist Finance Manager in accurate and timely VAT filing.  To ensure “ZERO” rate VAT related documents required as per SARS are in place.
